WEATHER IN POLAND

The Polish climate is tourist-friendly so don’t worry it will be either too cold or too hot to enjoy your stay in the city. Summers are warm and very sunny, and it does not rain very often. Autumns are usually very sunny and beautiful, and September, which is one of the most colorful and picturesque months of the year, is highly recommended for sightseeing. Winters are quite cold but not freezing , so if you are planning your visit in Cracow for December, January or February, please do not forget warm clothes. There is a lot of snow in winter especially in the Tatra mountains area which boasts a famous ski resort Zakopane where the skiing season lasts until late April. If you are coming in Spring, you should take a raincoat, but don’t worry that your visit in Cracow will be spoilt by the rain. In Spring Cracow is exceptionally beautiful when the nature is waking up and there are coluorful flowers everywhere.
